“Don’t dictate. Direct.” That was the title of the joint webinar elea and Techcyte held on September 17, and the shortest way to describe what eleaDNAi changes about pathology reporting. Dictation captures words: you speak, the system transcribes, you correct. Directing is different: the pathologist tells the system what they want, and eleaDNAi structures the case, fills the report, and completes CAP synoptic reporting. The pathologist stays in  command, not in transcription mode.

In 30 minutes, Richard Gruner, who leads elea’s Business Development in North America, and Techcyte’s Troy Bankhead turned the spotlight on a  part of pathology that rarely gets it: what happens after the diagnosis is made.

The centerpiece was a live demo of eleaDNAi working directly inside Techcyte Fusion AP, in the workflow labs already run. Richard Gruner dictated  microscopic descriptions per specimen, corrected measurements by voice, added ICD-10 and CPT codes, and generated a complete CAP synoptic  report with a single command, all without leaving the case.

The Q&A brought up exactly the right questions. eleaDNAi is multilingual, the demo itself ran in German. It runs fully encrypted on elea’s own infrastructure, with on-premise deployment available. And it works with Techcyte Fusion regardless of which LIS a lab runs.
