Organised by the French Society of Pathology (SFP), Carrefour Pathologie 2026 will bring together the French-speaking pathology community for three days of scientific education, discussion and networking.
The scientific programme will feature:
- Three histoseminars covering the reactive lymph node, developments in non-tumour oesophageal pathology and the tumour kidney.
- SFP conferences exploring AI for pathology diagnosis, forensic expertise in anatomy and cytology, and the new WHO classification in gynaecopathology.
- Symposia on pancreatic and bile duct cytology, eco-responsibility and eco-design of care, and new network labelling.
- An interactive session focusing on biopsies in ENT pathology.
- A new “Controversy” session discussing remote working in pathology.
- French Society of Clinical Cytology (SFCC) sessions covering AI in urinary cytology and pulmonary cytology.
- An AFAQAP session addressing medical error for pathologists.
- INSERM conferences exploring organoids and xenografts.
- “Flash” sessions on liquid biopsies and the new WHO classification of brain tumours.
- Medico-technical sessions covering technicians and digital pathology, as well as training and accreditation.
- The AIP day, dedicated to neuroendocrine tumours.
