In this episode, Sidney Ocanagil-Tunstall is joined by Professor Nasir Rajpoot, Director of the Tissue Image Analytics (TIA) Centre at the University of Warwick, to explore a career that has developed alongside the evolution of digital and computational pathology.

Nasir reflects on his journey from computer science and early image analysis to becoming one of the pioneers working with pathology images, sharing the challenges of building a field before whole slide imaging, large datasets and modern AI tools became widely available. He also discusses the early research and collaborations that helped build the computational pathology community and the landmark digital pathology validation work at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, which helped accelerate adoption across the UK.
