About the Company

Deciphex is a rapidly growing AI technology company, based in Dublin, Ireland providing software solutions for both non-clinical and clinical Pathology. From its inception in 2017, the company has scaled rapidly to a team of over 60 people, based in 6 countries worldwide, and is projected to hit 70+ people by late 2021. The company also has US & UK subsidiaries, with plans to expand into new markets. The company has been heavily involved in R&D with several EU and national grants to drive new product pipeline development. This has been supplemented with significant investment funding from VCs and private entities to enable the company commercial development and growth.


Through our work, we help pharma accelerate the process of essential drug development and we help cancer patients get timely and accurate diagnosis. We are software developers, clinical specialists, artificial intelligence engineers, operations professionals and so much more, all working as one team to support our customers and patients around the world.


We have an open role for an experienced AI Product Manager to join our growing team.


Primary Location: Ireland, UK or Romania – Remote


Role and Responsibilities

  • Ownership of & accountability for the Patholytix AI product & service portfolio
  • Ensuring all AI software release project goals are met
  • Coordinating input from and ensuring understanding between various stakeholders on product release requirements
  • Coordination of the development, execution and assessment of verification & validation testing protocols within the SDLC
  • Maintenance of prioritized backlog of bugs & features for assigned product lines including definition of product requirements
  • Responsibility for the development of appropriate AI customer support materials, incorporating user manuals and other customer training materials
  • Supporting the commercial team via Product Launch Excellence to ensure they are suitably equipped & enabled to offer Deciphex products and services in the field
  • Maintaining knowledge & awareness of regulatory requirements / trends in Digital Pathology for Deciphex products being sold into regulated / GLP environments
  • Complete all mandatory company training and job specific training required for the role, including ISMS, GLP, DocuSign, SDLC as applicable
  • Other duties as required from time to time

Education / Qualifications

  • Higher-level qualification (Degree or higher) in life science or business (or equivalent industry experience)

Required Experience for the Role

  • Solid understanding or work experience in AI/ML or Data Science
  • 6+yrs work experience in R&D in a software company (SaaS or equivalent) across multiple projects
  • 3+yrs work experience as a Product Manager with multiple releases to production
  • Working knowledge of the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with a range of SDLC’s and methods such as Agile/Waterfall
  • Understanding of the basic principles of pathology and digital pathology
  • Solid understanding of product management processes
  • Must be end-user focused with a sense of urgency and immediate impact
  • Passion & Enthusiasm for developing high performing, high quality products
  • Proficient in standard computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with GLP regulations or software will be ‘a distinct advantage.
