Full Job Description
You will be the professional communications lead for our networks to keep our staff, patients and other stakeholders involved and informed in our ambitions.

You will work alongside the GM Imaging and Pathology network local organisations communications leads to raise awareness across a broad range of key stakeholders of the collaborative work that is happening to develop Imaging and Pathology networks in the region.

You will be expected to work across our different member NHS Trusts to develop and deliver the communications strategy and ensure a coordinated approach to communications. You will be responsible for a programme of work which includes Community Diagnostic Centres, Digital Pathology and Pharmacy Hospital Hub and will also need to be able to link this work to the work of GM Digital, ensuring communications are optimised and kept up to date to inform all relevant stakeholders, including website maintenance and production of timely and accurate updates.

The primary purpose of this post is to work alongside the GM Imaging and Pathology network local organisations communications leads to raise awareness across a broad range of key stakeholders of the collaborative work that is happening to establish Imaging and Pathology networks in the region. The postholder will be expected to work across eight different NHS Trusts to develop and deliver the communications strategy and ensure a coordinated approach to communications. They will be responsible for a programme of work which covers all of the workstreams in the GM CSS programme portfolio including Community Diagnostic Centres, Digital Pathology and Pharmacy Hospital Hub and will also need to be able to link this work to the work of GM Digital.

The postholder will ensure communications are optimised and kept up to date to inform all relevant stakeholders, including website maintenance and production of timely and accurate updates.
