We are currently looking for a Digital Pathology & Workflow Application Consultant EMEA . This is a permanent remote-based role, but we would love to find and hire our new associate in Amsterdam area .
In close collaboration with the Sales organization you will be responsible for providing the Informatics muscle required to win complex and/or enterprise solutions projects in the anatomical pathology market, with a key focus on Digital Pathology, Specimen Tracking and Workflow.
The goal is to contribute to the continued successful growth of Leica Biosystems’ business with a consultative approach, that demonstrably provide our customers with workflow optimization helping them achieve their organizational, professional and personal ambitions.
Key responsibilities :

Support the local sales organization to drive opportunities by participating in customer current state review versus future desired state. Develop and configure solutions in alignment with our customers’ expectations and needs. Working closely with Implementation team to facilitate an effective deployment strategy per agreed customer and project timelines.

Support our sales team in the customer quotation process and during the pre-sales activity, by planning, presenting and/or demonstrating hardware/software applications and workflow elements to customers. Providing customer training on applications post sale.

Performing current state audit of the customer’s IT ecosystem and advising on necessary improvements and change (this requires detailed discussion around different topics, including: PACS, DICOM, Storage & Archiving Integration, LIS systems, Data workflow and sample workflow symbiosis, data/cyber security, barcoding and Leica and non-Leica system Integration).

Interacting with the Business Unit and external agencies and vendors on presales design/solution configuration elements of the informatics/IT components of the solution.

Attending industry events & conferences/exhibitions and customer workshops as a delegate, trainer and/or subject matter expert.
Key requirements :
-
Educational background in IT & Informatics, Pathology, Histology, Biomedical Science and/or Imaging, or software applications

Successful track record designing and selling informatics-based solutions in hospital/lab environment: Mirth, HL7 bidirectional and unidirectional LIS integration, PACS, DICOM

Experience with histology equipment and laboratory processes would be an advantage

Proficient Dutch and English
