Job Duties

Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy Own and manage at the regional level the Digital Pathology sales opportunities.

  • Engage all stakeholder in the sales process, including Pathologist, Lab mangers, IT Managers and procurement in cooperation with local sales team and product management
  • Interface frequently with other departments to provide seamless support to customers and the field sales organization
  • Understand the tender requirements and ensure the response is the correct approach to the tender request
  • Development of a workflow solution in the field of digital pathology involving the lab manager, TA, pathologists, IT managers
  • Provision of information on the development of market share, activities of competitors, trends and market developments in the allocated region for sales management and marketing
  • Development of new customer potentials and execution of secure sales talks in an experienced sales team
  • Presentations of digital pathology solutions to the customer as well as at trade fairs and exhibitions

  • Knowledge of Anatomical Pathology, Histology, or general laboratory services is strongly desired.
  • Sales background – Experience with proven revenue growth and market share gains in the field of IT healthcare sales and/or research
  • Experience with LIS or LIMS systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience in training Pathologists and other healthcare users in Digital Pathology at an expert level.
  • Experience of working as a Histopathology Biomedical Scientist.
  • Experience in demonstrating Digital Pathology in commercial sales as support.
  • Experience in training Pathologists and other healthcare users in Digital Pathology at an expert level.
  • Knowledge of technologies, products, processes and sales/purchasing in the hospital environment, competitive and market knowledge, especially in the field of immunohistochemistry and / or microscopy and / or imaging systems (imaging systems)
  • First experience in the preparation of budgets & forecasts, as well as offers, processing of tenders
  • Ability to facilitate and lead work groups
  • Ability to work in a team environment and must be customer focused with appropriate sensitivity and sense of urgency for customer issues
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities
  • Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills
  • Willingness to travel through DACH as well as the European Territory
