Stepping Hill Hospital requires a technical head to lead the Cellular Pathology department which provides a comprehensive service to the hospital and a large GP catchment area and is heavily involved in the Histopathologist training, digital pathology and the GM pathology agenda.

This presents a rare opportunity for a highly experienced biomedical scientist who will be responsible for the maintenance and development of a high quality service and will be encouraged to display personal initiative in all areas including the adoption of new technology including being the GM vanguard for the digital pathology project.
