Toxicologic Pathologist leading Digital Pathology (m/w)
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital transformation using Whole Slide Images (WSIs) will lead innovation and change the way of toxicologic pathology is run.
As a Toxicologic Pathologist and Scientist coordinating transversal activities related to digital pathology, your main task will be to:
- Provide pathology expertise from early research to late-stage development by evaluating histological glass slides or WSIs based on cutting-edge knowledge in toxicologic pathology.
- Support the deployment of digital pathology in toxicology, from visualization to interpretation. Collaborate with data scientists developing models applied to WSIs.
- Deliver technical input for the histology laboratory team. Contribute to the transformation towards digital pathology.
- Provide input on study design especially for mechanistic studies.
WHO YOU ARE
Doctor in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) with a specialization in Veterinary and Toxicologic Pathology (ECVP or ACVP Board-certification or equivalent, in preparation or passed), you are looking for a career in research as a toxicologic pathologist.
You are interested to develop innovative solutions using opportunities offered by the digitalization of glass slides and the artificial intelligence. You are also willing to participate to the development of new alternative methodologies in toxicology.
You enjoy multidisciplinary work and show willingness to collaborate actively with project teams and external partners.
You have knowledge on : deep learning, image analysis, Visiopharm, Concentriq
