Speaker Biographies:
Jordan Laser, M.D. is a board certified anatomic, clinical and molecular genetic pathologist with a wide range of professional experiences in both academia, health systems as well as industry. Currently employed at Bio-Techne, Jordan is responsible for clinical and medical affairs related to the diagnostic solutions provided by the clinical laboratory facing brands within the company. Prior to that, Jordan continued his journey in patient empowerment while working at Everly Health, a consumer-initiated-physician-ordered laboratory company by providing patients direct access to laboratory tests. Finally, for over a decade, Jordan was a clinical leader in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Northwell Health in NY. His responsibilities included system-wide leadership of point of care testing, cytogenetics and molecular pathology as well as site directorship of tertiary hospital and reference laboratories. His expertise includes molecular and genomic medicine, laboratory management, healthcare finance and standards and regulations.Robert Monroe, M.D., Ph.D., board-certified in Cytopathology, Anatomic Pathology, and Clinical Pathology with a PhD in Genetics, assumed roles as the VP and Chief Scientific Officer of Oncology at Danaher Diagnostics and CMO at Leica Biosystems in 2022, enhancing their molecular oncology initiatives. His previous roles include CMO at Bio-Techne, BioImagine, a digital pathology startup acquired by Roche, and OncoMDx, a molecular diagnostics lab he co-founded and was later acquired by Core Diagnostics in 2012. Monroe also served as VP at Veracyte and practiced pathology in California, following his medical and residency training at Harvard, UCLA, and Stanford.
