SUMMARY:International Spatial Biology Congress 2026
DESCRIPTION:0000Days00Hrs00Min00SecIn this rapidly developing field\, spatial biology provides significant potential for creating novel clinical insights. Recent technological advancements in spatial biology have provided insights into new strategies to prevent and treat disease\, particularly the interactions between the tumor and the tumor microenvironment in cancers to target patients to more specific treatments. New spatial research is focusing more on spatial omics integration\, spatial metabolomics becoming more prominent\, how to tackle spatial data analysis and benchmarking\, and the applications of AI within spatial biology. \nThe conference is structured around three core areas\, Spatial Multiomics Studies and Techniques\, Bioinformatics and Computational Tools for Spatial Data Analysis and Applications of Spatial Biology in Disease and Drug Development. There is an expanded focus on data analysis in response to delegate feedback. Sessions place particular emphasis on understanding\, analysing\, and standardising spatial data\, alongside advances in subcellular and spatial–temporal biology. As the field moves beyond broad molecular mapping\, talks now explore finer-scale perspectives\, including three-dimensional interactions and the dynamic behaviour of molecules within cells and tissues. \nThe programme highlights both technological innovation and the expanding application of spatial biology beyond oncology. Topics include the integration of spatial biology with mass spectrometry\, enabling detailed proteomic analysis at the subcellular level\, as well as emerging approaches in spatial transcriptomics\, epigenomics\, and metabolomics. Case studies span rare skin disease\, neuroscience\, neurodegeneration\, and cardiovascular disease\, supported by increasing engagement from the pharmaceutical sector. A strong keynote lineup brings together leading academic and industry experts to offer insight into the future direction of the field. \nRegister Now
