In a new study, researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology evaluated the use of nonlinear microscopy for rapid examination of resected lung tissues, including lung tumors. The results showed that nonlinear microscopy could replicate the visual information from H&E staining for both lung tumors and non-neoplastic lung structures.
