Leveraging Digital Pathology and AI to Strengthen CRO-Pharma Partnerships and Elevate Clinical Trial Integrity

As the demand for faster, more efficient clinical trials grows, contract research organizations (CROs) and pharmaceutical sponsors are increasingly adopting digital pathology and AI to enhance patient enrolment, stratification, and endpoint evaluation to drive productivity gains while increasing scientific rigor. In this presentation, Dr. Monika Lamba Saini will discuss the pivotal role CROs play in developing and validating AI algorithms that deliver standardized measurements, improving reproducibility and overall scientific integrity in trials. Drawing on her extensive experience across both CRO and pharma landscapes, Dr. Lamba Saini will shed light on how digitization is forming a bridge between drug discovery, translational research, and clinical trials, thereby strengthening CRO-pharma relationships more than ever as the number of clinical trials for precision medicine and next-generation therapies continues to grow. She will also share key considerations for pathologists, scientists, and leaders across these organizations to ensure digital pathology and AI are applied effectively so they can meet their shared goal of accelerating drug development to rapidly deliver innovative treatments to patients.
