The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) is excited to unveil the next generation of hands-on learning with the launch of the SIIM Virtual Hospital Platform (VHP) 2.0 simulator at the SIIM25 Annual Meeting & Informatics Tech Expo, taking place May 21-23 in vibrant Portland, OR.

Designed for today’s imaging informaticist, the upgraded SIIM VHP simulator delivers a dynamic, interactive sandbox experience that lets participants master medical image management in a virtual hospital environment. With a streamlined interface and enhanced scalability, SIIM VHP 2.0 makes it easier than ever for learners to access immersive training–whether they’re just starting out or sharpening advanced skills. Additionally, more participants can engage simultaneously, expanding opportunities for collaborative learning and skill-building.

SIIM’s VHP 2.0 is the result of an innovative partnership with the m-Health & e-Health Development and Innovation Centre (MEDIC) at Mohawk College’s IDEAWORKS in Hamilton, Ontario. Jeff McIsaac, Dean of Applied Research and Dean of Engineering Technology & Aviation, said
