Elea is excited to share that Sebastian Casu has joined the company full-time as Chief Medical Officer, starting April 1st.

Sebastian is a co-founder of Elea, part of the team from the very beginning, and is now making the leap from a successful career in medicine — including his role as Chief Physician and Medical Director — to full-time building software that tackles the very problems he experienced firsthand in clinical practice.

At Elea, the mission is to build the most advanced operating system for pathology laboratories. With Sebastian’s deep clinical insight and passion for improving workflows, the company is uniquely positioned to transform how pathology is practiced — streamlining workflows, enabling better decisions, and ultimately improving patient outcomes.
