Leave all decisions to the Spectral M scanner to detect the labels, separate the label from the whole slide image, detect the specimen on the slide, set up the best scanning parameters and obtain the most faithful reproduction of the glass slide in digital format.

Proprietary algorithms locate the Z plane of the specimen, irrespective of slide thickness. There is no need for any focal point selection or a choice of number of focal points. In-line quality assurance almost entirely eliminates the need for any post-imaging quality check or rescan.

Refined Control when you need it

For slides that are especially challenging, you can tightly control the areas that need to be scanned, select option to scan them at higher magnification, or save Z stacks for fine focus detailing, just like with a microscope
