Lumito Scan-as-a-Service

Lumito has developed the next-generation tissue analysis system, based on upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs). Lumito SCIZYS is a cutting-edge, high-sensitivity system combining labeling and imaging technologies to locate and measure biomarkers in tissue samples.
The Scan-as-a-Service offering enables researchers to experience the full power of SCIZYS without investing in their own system. By ordering a SCIZYS Erbium kit and submitting prepared IHC slides, users receive ultra-high-resolution digital images delivered securely via the cloud.
Scan-as-a-Service
How it works:
- Order SCIZYS Erbium kit
- Prepare IHC slides
- Send IHC slides to us for scanning
- Cloud access to OME‑TIFF images
Optional add‑ons (enquire for price): Image analysis and/or lab support via our CRO partner network.
*Research Use Only (RUO). Not for clinical or diagnostic use.

Key benefits
Exceptional sensitivity, wide dynamic range, fully separated channels, single particle detection
Technology
The UCNP technology offers unparalleled accuracy due to precise light quanta and high photostability
Application areas
Lumito’s system can be used with any biotinylated antibody, enabling a wide range of uses in drug development, research and in the future diagnostics
Product
Lumito’s SCIZYS system consists of a labeling kit and a scanner, and can be easily integrated into a standard IHC workflow

SCIZYS S1

SCIZYS S1 is a Whole Slide Imaging scanner that images histological samples using brightfield and UCNPs to display both chromogenic counterstaining and UCNP luminescence. Brightfield and UCNP can be combined to provide a more comprehensive basis for tissue analysis.
- 30x mode scanner
- 0.9 µm optical resolution between UCNPs
- Imaging in UCNP and brightfield mode
The scanner is available for lease or sale.
