API’s 2026 fall meeting celebrates its 10th year with a new name: Inside the Digital Lab (IDL), formerly the Digital Pathology-AI (DP-AI) Workshop. The event offers a behind-the-scenes look at institutions that have successfully implemented the latest technologies, AI solutions and innovative workflow approaches.
IDL is a roving meeting featuring on-site laboratory tours alongside tailored, site-specific programming. In 2026, the meeting will be hosted by Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan, showcasing its journey towards a comprehensive digital workflow for primary diagnosis in Anatomic Pathology.
The hands-on programme will also include opportunities to explore solutions from participating vendors, alongside presentations of comparative use cases designed to encourage knowledge exchange and highlight new possibilities for healthcare systems worldwide.
