The 28th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI 2025) will take place from Tuesday, September 23 to Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Daejeon, Republic of Korea. This marks a significant milestone, as it will be the first time the MICCAI conference is hosted in Korea.
The MICCAI 2025 Organising Committee, together with the local host team in South Korea, has been preparing for this event over several years with great care and enthusiasm. Their collective efforts are focused on ensuring that MICCAI 2025 provides an engaging, inclusive, and high-quality experience for all attendees.
As one of the premier gatherings in the field, the MICCAI annual conference consistently attracts a global community of leading biomedical scientists, engineers, and clinicians working at the forefront of medical imaging and computer-assisted interventions. The conference will feature three days of core scientific content, including oral presentations, poster sessions, and keynote lectures.
Surrounding the main conference are satellite events — workshops, tutorials, and challenges — held on the days before and after the main program. These offer in-depth engagement on specialized topics and are a vital part of the MICCAI experience. Attendees will also benefit from industrial sessions and exhibitions, providing valuable opportunities for interaction between academia and industry.
Additionally, the Student Board and Women in MICCAI Board will enrich the program through a variety of social and networking events, ensuring a vibrant and supportive environment for all participants.
All members of the MICCAI community are warmly invited to join the conference in Daejeon in 2025. It promises to be a memorable and inspiring event, bringing together experts from around the world to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and shape the future of medical image computing and computer-assisted intervention.
