Abstract
For AI to be trusted for use in high risk applications like healthcare, it is important to ensure (AI Assurance) that the predictive uncertainty is within guaranteed bounds which can be achieved through conformal prediction based calibration at user defined level of significance.
Bio
Rohan is a Theme/Group Lead in Frontier AI Assurance at the Alan Turing Institute and a Principal Research Fellow at UCL Cancer Institute. He leads TRAIL, the Transparent and Responsible AI Lab shared between UCL/Turing. Rohan is an invited expert in Responsible AI with the Global Partnership on AI and an Editor with Springer Nature Computer Science. Rohan has a PhD in Computer Science and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford where he continues to an Honorary Fellow of Linacre College and a Lecturer in Computer Science with Christ Church College.
