The 2nd Annual Congress of the Asian Society of Digital Pathology (ASDP) was successfully held from 10 to 12 October 2025 at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. Centered on the theme “Pixels to Practice: Advancing Digital Pathology in Asia,” the congress served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among pathologists, researchers, educators, and industry partners from around the world.

The meeting was organised under the guidance of the 2025 Mumbai Congress Program Committee. The leadership and vision of the board and the committee members shaped a well-curated scientific program that spotlighted the latest breakthroughs in digital and computational pathology.

A major highlight of the event was the presence of distinguished keynote speakers — Liron Pantanowitz (University of Pittsburgh, USA), Anant Madabhushi (Emory University, USA), and Keisuke Goda (University of Tokyo, Japan) — who shared transformative insights on digital pathology, computational diagnostics, and AI integration in healthcare. The congress featured over 50 national and international speakers, 13 scientific symposia, 7 industry symposia, and 5 panel discussions, addressing emerging trends and practical challenges in the field. The congress emphasized critical themes such as the validation of algorithms, navigating regulatory pathways, ensuring seamless interoperability, and strengthening academic–industry partnerships and its transformative impact on real world clinical practice. These discussions underscore the urgency and importance of collaboration in propelling the future of healthcare technology.

More than 450 delegates participated in the congress, with over 100 scientific abstracts presented through oral and poster sessions. The event also witnessed robust industry participation, with 36 sponsors and partners showcasing cutting-edge digital scanners, AI-based diagnostic tools, cloud platforms, and integrated reporting systems. Live demonstrations and interactive sessions offered delegates hands-on exposure to next-generation diagnostic technologies.

In addition to the scientific program, the congress hosted a vibrant cultural night, where delegates enjoyed music, dance, and entertainment. The evening provided a unique opportunity for networking and camaraderie, reflecting the diverse spirit of the ASDP community.

To conclude, by bringing together leaders, innovators, and practitioners, the ASDP 2025 Mumbai  congress firmly positioned Asia as a rising hub for digital pathology adoption and innovation.
