Techcyte, a global leader in AI-based digital pathology, announces the commercial release of AI Masses, a cutting-edge veterinary cytology solution  developed by Techcyte and distributed exclusively through Zoetis’ Vetscan Imagyst platform.

AI Masses represents a significant advancement in digital veterinary diagnostics. It provides rapid, AI-generated interpretations of lymph node and  subcutaneous lesion fine needle aspirates (FNAs). Veterinarians using AI Masses can now obtain results for common cases in minutes instead of days.

“Reducing the diagnostic wait time from hours to minutes fundamentally changes how veterinarians practice medicine,” said Dan Tippetts, VP of  Product Management at Techcyte. “This innovation enables veterinarians to make recommendations while the client and patient are still at the  practice.”

Designed to support veterinary professionals in small animal practices, AI Masses assists in triaging samples and guiding diagnostic conversations  with clients, enhancing clinical workflows and improving pet owner communication. For uncommon or complex cases, veterinarians can submit an  AI Masses test for review by a board-certified pathologist, combining the speed and consistency of AI with the expertise and nuance of human  evaluation.

This launch is for the seventh test on the Vetscan Imagyst platform and continues the successful collaboration between Techcyte and Zoetis.
