Tribun Health’s CaloPix® Solution Selected by RESAH to Accelerate the Digitization of Pathology in France

  • Tribun Health and its partners win a major contract with the RESAH purchasing group in France
  • Public hospitals now have simplified access to digital pathology solutions

Tribun Health, a leading provider of digital pathology solutions, announces that its IMS (Image Management System) for pathology, CaloPix® has been the only one selected by the Réseau des Acheteurs Hospitaliers (RESAH) , one of France’s main purchasing groups for public hospitals.

Following a call for tenders to supply complete solutions for laboratories’ transition to digital pathology, RESAH selected Tribun Health for all the lots in which it participated. This success reinforces Tribun Health’s position as a key player in the field of digital pathology, and testifies to the relevance of its innovation.

To respond to this call for tenders, Tribun Health collaborated with industry leaders to present a solid, integrated proposal. This partnership includes Hamamatsu for scanners, MTI as integrator, and Dell and Cegedim for IT and Cloud infrastructures. In addition, several financial organizations are backing these complete offers for specific batches, ensuring efficient, long-term deployment.

Tribun Health is firmly committed to the digital transformation of pathology, which is essential for improving the accuracy, efficiency and promptness of diagnoses. Winning this tender means that public hospitals will now have easier access to cutting-edge solutions to help them make this transition. In concrete terms, French public hospitals will be able to access Tribun Health’s advanced digital pathology solutions directly, without the need for an additional tendering process.

This success marks a real opportunity for hospitals, with a market characterized by several major assets:

  • The depth of the referenced product offering: a range of scanners, all Tribun Health IMS modules including Workflow, Archiving and AI, as well as on-premise and cloud IT services. This depth enables it to address all configurations and uses.
  • Access to different financial models: purchase of the solution, leasing or pay-as-you-go. The latter makes it possible to purchase equipment with a low initial outlay and a cost linked to the activity.
  • Quickly available, certified solutions for efficient deployment and meeting operational objectives.

Jean-François Pomerol, CEO of Tribun Health, states:

“We are honored and delighted to have been selected by RESAH for this crucial project. This  success not only validates our commitment to providing first-class digital pathology solutions for physicians and patients, but also represents an important step forward in making our
solutions accessible to public purchasers. We are delighted to be able to contribute to making these technological advances available to healthcare facilities, thereby improving the quality of patient care. We look forward to working closely with our partners and public hospitals to deliver these advanced solutions.”
